The Green Deal comes from the belief that climate change is the greatest challenge of our time but that it also represents a unique opportunity to build a new, sustainable economic model.<\/span><\/h3>

Climate<\/h3>

By 2030, a minimum 55% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions, compared to 1990 levels. By 2050, climate neutrality. The EU’s commitment in this area is aimed on the one hand to combat the climate change and on the other hand to support the adaptation of societies to its impacts.<\/p> <\/div>

Protect biodiversity and ecosystems. Reduce air, water and soil pollution. Get a circular economy. Improve waste management and ensure the sustainability of blue economy and fishing.<\/p> <\/div>

By 2030, the European Commission will mobilise \u20ac 1 trillion in sustainable investments to achieve the targets of the Green Deal.<\/p> <\/div>

Accelerating and guiding the changes necessary for the full implementation of the Green Deal through the research and innovation. Horizon Europe is a program launched in 2021 to guide the necessary structural changes to achieve climate neutrality and ensure an inclusive ecological and economic transition.<\/p>
